DHC’s board members believe in the quality of care provided by DHC. So much so, that the majority of board members are patients as well. They reasonably represent the sex, race, and ethnicity of the individuals served by the health center.
The governing board maintains authority to oversee the processes and procedures of the centers by engaging in strategic planning for long-term programmatic and long-range viability of DHC. Members receive no compensation. Their time and efforts are solely volunteerism.
